A pair of dark-red ground aged ormolu-mounted sevres-style porcelain vases and covers, with continuous view foliate raised body miniature, painted after paintings of Francois Boucher on a continuous landscape. The cover, neck and socle are in dark red, ornamented with stripped gilt oeil de perdrix, the shoulders are flanked upright aged-ormolu winged acanthus-scroll handles with suspending rings with beaded wreath elongated from the miniature itself in dark red color, the domed lid is surmounted with an aged-ormolu acorn finial, raised on a conforming socle and aged ormolu square shaped base with foliate cartouche.
